Who Is A Good Candidate for Treatment

OptiLIGHT may be a great option for adults experiencing moderate to severe dry eye symptoms related to Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD)—especially those dealing with dryness, burning, redness, irritation, or watery eyes. OptiLIGHT is FDA-cleared for patients 22 and older.

What Treatment Involves

Your aesthetician will review your skin and eye history, medication list and goals to make sure you are a good candidate for treatment.

Protective shields are placed over the eyes and a cool gel is placed on the skin while gentle, targeted light is applied to the skin around the eyes. A typical treatment plan includes 4 sessions spaced 2–4 weeks apart, with minimal discomfort and little to no downtime.
